Sistem Informasi Geografis Dan Artificial Intelligence Untuk Destinasi Desa Wisata

Abstract

A tourist village is one of the tourism objects that need further development, especially for promotion and its potential as a tourist destination that deserves attention and development. Currently, the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought many major changes in various fields, one of which is its benefits and application in the tourism sector. The issues that are developing are related to efforts to encourage the strengthening of sustainable tourism development based on applied technological innovation, specifically to increase the promotion and potential of tourist villages, and the case study for this research is a tourist village destination in West Java. This applied research aims to develop a model for increasing the promotion and potential of tourist village destinations based on the development of geographic information systems (GIS) and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. This applied research uses the Action Research method, then the GIS development methodology uses Rapid Application Development. The results of this applied research are the development of a geographic information system and the use of AI for the promotion and potential of tourist village destinations in West Java. This research is expected to contribute significantly to the West Java provincial government to support increased promotion and potential of tourist village destinations to strengthen the sustainable tourism industry, which is in line with government programs in the tourism and creative economy sectors.
